Maurino olive trees flower in summer, ripen in the fall and are self-sterile. This means they need additional olive trees to produce olives. For the best yield we recommend pollinating with Pendolino, Leccino, Frantoio or Moraiolo varietals.

Fruit production usually starts between 2-4 years. At maturity they can grow between 25-30 feet in height with a 25 foot spread. The leaves are lanceolate, of medium size and are grayish-green in color.
